HTC Puccini set to rival iPad 2, audio to be a key selling point

Just when you thought the tablet market couldn’t get any more exciting, or should that be any more crowded, HTC is said to be preparing yet another tablet to follow up from their current Flyer as to contend with the iPad 2.
HTC’s current flagship and first tablet to ever hit the market, the Flyer, won reviewers over with the amazingly tactile Sense UI skinned on top of the default Android operating system, however aesthetically the tablet had mixed views due to its thickness. Now it seems that HTC has admitted this, and according to Pocketnow (see here for the real deal) the tablet will be available on AT&T and is set to be called the Puccini, a name derived from Itialian composer Giacomo Puccini (Wikipedia link).
What this name suggests is that audio could be the selling feature HTC ships with this tablet, and improved home streaming capabilities could become a key specification. On top of audio, and if this is a direct replacement for the current Flyer tab, the Puccini should also ship with a dual-core CPU and run Honeycomb.
