HTC Unveil New Eden Smartphone Concept

Have you ever wondered what smartphones of the future will look like? Well then look no further than HTC, who have just unveiled a new concept design called New Eden. The New Eden Concept No. 1 comes from the maker of the hugely popular HTC Desire and HTC Wildfire handsets and was unveiled as part of the BriefMovile project that is looking to gain an insight into the future of feasible, appealing and usable handset design.
The New Eden would be crafted with a durable aluminum shell and run a version of Google’s Android operating system (see keys), although it would be nice to see a Windows Phone 7 version, a lot like the HTC 7 Pro. What’s more you would not be hard pressed to mis-presume that the display of this handset is in fact curved, although this might just be the way the image has been edited. For the hard pleased out there though you do have to say that this concept does not look all too inspiring from an aesthetical point of view, if we’re honest, and a lot of the latest mobiles look just as great (Xperia Arc, anyone?).
More importantly the HTC Pyramid is set to be unveiled (possibly!) next week, and we’ll keep you updated on all of that stuff, heres some used mobiles for sale in the meantime.

Looks like a great bit of design, hopefully it would be made of aircraft grade aluminium.
