IE9 Hits 2.35 Million Downloads On Day One
Microsoft’s latest version to their Internet Explorer web browser, IE9, has been downloaded over 2.35 million times so far and it has only been available for one day. The web browser itself makes use of an application launch system where you can denote certain sites to your taskbar and Microsoft have also changed the layout of their settings making navigation for the user a better experience.
Initial Opinion
As a test trial we downloaded IE9 and created a web application written in CSS and J Query to test out the browsers performance, however unlike IE8 and IE7, IE9 rendered it terribly. For use as a developer it would seem that IE is yet again going to the back of my cabinet.
As a web browser for the general user IE9 was fast and easy to use, and rendered Technology Blogged absolutely fine. We’ll dish out a full review soon.
