iPad meets Kinect in iPad motion sensor dock

We knew it wouldn’t take long, and it hasn’t. Elliptic Labs is to very soon officially out its motion-sensing iPad dock prototype that will allow users to control their iPad’s without tarnishing the device with fingerprints. This dock, which looks brilliant, could be first on the accessory list for people throughout 2011.
The Elliptic Dock prototype makes use of ultrasound technology that create a 35cm “touchless zone” field around the connected device, the dock prototype will allow users to control their devices through different gestures including side-to-side and up-and-down motions, all of which are speed variable.
