Jak and Daxter HD collection coming to PS3

Just kidding. The makers of hit PS2 franchise Jak and Daxter, Naughty Dog, have announced that they are to release a revamped HD collection to add to their already fabulous portfolio of review smashing games (Uncharted 3, anyone) for the PS3, marking the first time Jak and Daxter will make their way over to Sony’s latest generation console.
Back in 2001, Jak and Daxter hit the platform gaming world by storm however in 2002, a main competitor entered the market in the name of Ratchet and Clank. Since 2009 (not 2004, as a lot of people would think; the makers did not push Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier enough), Jak and Daxter has been missing from the world of console gaming apart from on lesser portables such as the PSP and with spin offs. This news, then, is more than welcome in our eyes, as Jak and Daxter 1, 2 and 3 we’re utterly fabulous. A big Thank you to Simon, at Zath, for bringing this to my attention.
