In the world of smartphones you can make many assumptions including that Engadget’s recent review of the Samsung Galaxy S II means it is without a doubt the best smartphone in the world, however the Guinness World Book Of Records tallies things differently and looks for hard figures which it can put to paper. The LG Optimus 2X, a product which recieved mixed reviews, is the latest smartphone to make it in to this acclaimed book.
The prize just scooped by the LG Optimus 2X is ‘the very first dual-core smartphone’ in the world, a title which can never be taken away, meaning that LG has made history indefinately. One thing nagging us is the line between a record, because if it is unbreakable like this one, is it really a record? We’re not so sure. Hats off to LG though.PS: Digging this story, news or review?
