Microsoft: “In Three Years 43 per cent of a company’s work load will be cloud based”
Ooooh how I love hard figures. They are quoted across the internet and genuinely they always come back to bite people in the future, and Microsoft has just laid down something which could come back to bite them. According to Marco Limena, vice president of Business Channels in the Worldwide Communications Sector for Microsoft, cloud computing is the future. On this she said “As cloud computing becomes more ubiquitous and SMBs’ existing IT becomes outdated, adoption will grow rapidly. Hosting service providers should consider the appropriate sales, delivery and support models to target larger SMB customers that are more likely to pay for cloud services.”
Marco Limena aside, Microsoft have even gone as far to predict that a whole 43 per cent of a company’s entire work load will be cloud based within the next three years. Now, to the cloud!
