Mitsubishi Drops Out Of LCD TV Market

Mitsubishi have been making LCD HDTV’s for as long as any other manufacturer has however here in the UK their products have certainly never been heavily promoted compared to the likes of Sony’s Bravia series and Samsungs variants.
Now however it seems that Mitsubishi will not have to ever compete with the manufacturers above because they have dropped out of the LCD TV market completely, announcing that they are to focus on DLP and Laservue TVs in sizes above 73-inches where its flat panel competitors can barely reach. Mitsubishi are however to carry on selling projectors, display walls, printers and large public display screens.
Something tells us that more options in the 73-inch plus display category are better than more choices in the already heavily populated minus 73 inch market, so we’ll be tuning in to products carefully that Mitsubishi bring out in the future. Stay tuned my friends.
