Motorola Xoom to cost $800

[ 2 ] Posted by on February 17, 2011

Itching to get your hands on the first dual-core Android Honeycomb tablet? Yep, well, it’s going to cost you. Motorola have finally announced the pricing for the Xoom and it’s a rather steep $800 for the 3g+wifi version, and $600 for the wifi only version.

Motorola are justifying this lofty price tag by stating that because it’s compatible for 4g that means it’s worth more. Which makes sense, if you live in a country where 4g is a reality -cough- not the UK – cough-. You’d better be prepared to hand over a thick wad of cash when this thing hits American shelves.
