MWC: LG Optimus 3D Gets Unveiled, 4.3-inch Glasses-free 3D Is Yours

LG have been pushing their Optimus 3D Smartphone for a little bit now, although they have been fairly secretive in their going about it. We are willing to forgive the fact that on their blog they stated they are to reveal the ‘worlds first 3D Smartphone’ come this MWC, when in fact Sharp already beat them to it, because the Optimus 3D looks rather glorious at this years MWC.

The Optimus 3D comes with a 4.3-inch glasses-free 3D display, capable of rendering 3D effects in games, film and even the user interface itself. LG have also made it their mission to make sure the Optimus 3D comes with the utmost connectivity options, meaning that you can record your very own 3D videos using the sharp looking dual cameras on the rear of the handset, and play them later via your 3D capable television.
One thing that we are a little bit skeptcal of is the viewing angles of this 3D Screen LG have thrown into the Optimus 3D, and whether you will have to look at this device straight on to get the most out of it. Either way, we also assume there will be a rather high price tag on this handset when it comes round to launch, but we’ll keep you up to date with that when the time comes.
In the meantime, head over to Engadget for great coverage on this handset below.
