New magicJack Plus Raising Its VOICE Among VoIP Providers

A new edition of the magicJack, by Vocaltec Communications Limited, was released last month in the name of The magicJack plus. This small device, which is approximately the same size as the previous edition of the magicJack, includes all of the same features consumers were offered with the previous edition of the magicJack, including call forwarding, call waiting, three-way calling, voicemail, call ID, and much more. With the release of this new device users can also now port their current phone number to magicJack.
The magicJack Plus has addressed many of the concerns and issues with the previous magicJack device. Some consumers had problems with the voice quality of the previous model and this has been addressed with HD Voice, and Echo Control technology. These increase the quality of the sound, as well as reduce the echoes that were sometimes present while using the previous model. Some consumers had problems with dropped calls with the previous model. This was an issue related not only to the Internet connection speed, but the user’s computer quality as well. The new magicJack Plus has taken the computer out of the equation, thanks to its onboard CPU and RAM (however, the magicJack Plus can also be used with a computer’s USB just as if it were the old magicJack).
The magicJack Plus works by way of VoIP technology and lets you make phone calls from any standard telephone, laptop, or computer. When traveling, you can even hook the magicJack plus device to your computer, which means you can take your phone line with you wherever you go.
After reading various magicJack Plus reviews we’ve seen that setup is simple, and can take as little as just a couple of minutes. Unlike the previous edition of the magicJack, no software needs to be installed on the user’s computer. The product can be registered quickly and easily online, for free. To make phone calls quickly, consumers just need to plug one end of the included ethernet cable into the magicJack Plus unit, and plug the other end into the consumer’s high speed modem. Next, the USB cable needs to be plugged into the power supply, as well as into the magicJack Plus unit. Finally, consumers need to plug any standard telephone into the Plus unit, and they are ready to make and receive phone calls.
After an initial payment of $69.95 (which includes the first year of service), this highly affordable VoIP telephone service costs just $29.95 per year, and covers unlimited local and long distance calls anywhere in the United States and Canada. Users who wish to make international calls can do so for an additional rate that varies per minute, depending on the country being called. When the product is initialy purchased, consumers also have the option of purchasing five years of service for a discounted rate of just $99.95.
Consumers’ purchase of the magicJack Plus includes the device the USB cable, ethernet cable, and AC power adapter. All purchases through the official site also come with a 30 day free trial.
