Nintendo Wii Named Gadget Show Gadget of the Decade

The Gadget Show, which is under license  by channel Five Television named the Nintendo Wii gadget of the decade yesterday.

Up against the Wii was Sky Plus, which has revolutionised the way in which television users can interact with thier television shows – and enables them to pause or record.

Having watched the show, I thought the iPod would be crowned gadget of the decade – but, with everything going a little bit Apple savvy over the last 2 years it was nice to see a change.

I (Jakk ) and Technology Blogged wish to congratulate Nintendo with their brilliant creation, and offer our condelences to the Sky Plus box.

Can’t wait to see the next gen ! I hope the Wii 2 or the ‘Zii?’ can take innovation that one step further.
