Nokia Ovi Store now serving over 7 million downloads per day
It’s easy to forget in these days of Android, iOS & WP7 that Nokia still has a foothold in the mobile market at all. Regardless, Nokia still sell truckloads of mobile devices a day, despite not having the brand image in the high end they once had. Want some proof? The Ovi store (their marketplace) is now serving over 7 million downloads per day wordwide. Sure, Apple might be shifting 13 million per day on average, but it’s just one more reason to stop imagining Nokia as the down-and-out company they could be in several years if the Mircosoft partnership doesn’t come out smelling of roses.
