OCZ Vertex 3 Pro breaks SSD benchmarks
Solid state hard drives are awesome. This is a widely known fact, and yet as prices go down and capacities go up we grow ever closer to being able to afford them in the laptop and desktop machines of mere mortals.
As for this particular SSD, it’s been doing to the reviewing rounds and it turns out that this thing is blistering fast, producing 550MBps maximum read and 500MBps maximum write speeds on not even final hardware. Yeah, that’s right. You heard me correctly. So if you’re in the market for a hard drive so fast applications open before you even click them, hit this particular bad boy up.

Thats sick fast! I never really thought about it before but surely in a laptop these things can only help out battery life too?
