Opera experiment breaks the speed of light, and Einstein’s theory

In a very recent test conducted by scientists within the European Organization for Nuclear Research, known as CERN, Albert Einstein’s 1905 theory of nothing being able to travel faster than the speed of light has been proven wrong, or at least it would appear to have been.
The recent test conducted by CERN scientists involved firing clusters of tiny, subatomic particles called neutrinos all the way to a detector at the Gran Sasso National Laboratory in Italy. Now according to the scientists, these neutrinos got to this detector way too soon, by a science staggering amount of 60 nanoseconds, and with it breaking the speed of light. If this evidence holds up (it is currently undergoing observation and tests to disprove it) then it has serious complications for science as we know it today, and we would literally have to rewrite the majority of rules applied to physics currently. Keen to stress that this test was conducted properly, and that the data is accurate Antonio Ereditato, spokesman for the OPERA experiment, told the BBC on Thursday that:
“We wanted to find all possible explanations for this. We wanted to find a mistake, but we didn’t”.
Adding to Ereditato’s interview with the BBC, co-spokesperson Rob Plunkett said that ”As you can imagine, something like this is so revolutionary that everyone who can weigh in will be attempting to do so.”
According to experts, special relativity explains too many things in nature to be completely incorrect and this recent breakthrough has bewildered them. Can anything really travel faster than the speed of light?

I am a physicist and work in Austria. This news is extremely important to the physics world however also very concerning. In effect, I hold the belief that if this is proved to be a true piece of evidence then the dimensions we live in are purely one world. Fourth and fifth dimensions may co-exist all around us and some of my colleagues (this is more banter) argue that the dinosaurs are from one such different dimension, and that both dimensions merged at a point in time or switched, and dinosaurs may very well be more than alive.
Thank you very much for your constructive input in to this breakthrough, Dr, Coleman. The part of all of this that intrigues me most is this:
If you could travel faster than the speed of light, then in my head you could end up at your destination before you have even left, effectively travelling back in time.
i cant believe that Einstein,s theory going wrong…..But Opera Experiment have good info for speed of light
