New Panansonic Cameras

Do you often find yourself wishing you could take videos underwater? Especially in an eye pleasing 1080p format? Well uncle Panny’s got your back, with the release of two entirely new camcorders, known to friends as HX-WA10 and HM-TA20.

The HX-WA10 takes the form of the ever so popular “pistol grip” shape, allowing you to knock around up to 3 meters underwater for a good hour before having to surface again (we’re guessing you can’t hold your breath that long anyway) and it’s even got their fancy BSI (Backside Illumination) sensor technology meaning low light shots should come out a damn sight clearer than most camcorders. Along side all that video tech it’s got the ability to take stills at 16MP which you can then view back on it’s 2.7 inch pop out LCD display as well as a 5x digital zoom and a bunch of other things to make your blurry holiday snaps look much better than your skill level dictates.

As for the HM-TA20, it brings shock and dustproofing along for the 1080p ride with the body shape of a Flip cam, a 3 inch display and even a tripod thrown in for taking those 8MP self portraits you can capture with the stills camera.

Got all that? They’ll be up for purchase towards the tail end of April, where you’ll be able to get them at all good retailers.
