In the world of Android everything moves at an alarming rate however Samsung have never really been at the front of this, often seperating product software updates months at a time, and in light of the recent Android 2.2 Froyo fiasco and unruly upturns on forums regarding it, Samsung has promised to change its ways and in a recent interview cited that they  “had recognised that there is a real problem after looking at the online feedback”.

All of this has come from the managing director of Samsung’s UK and Ireland mobile division in talks with Tech Radar, who openly admitted that there has been a significant problem in the past surrounding Android updates on their devices. In the interview, the managing director of Samsung’s UK and Ireland mobile division also stated that Samsung was going to work more closely with network partners in order to get the updates out faster for consumers.
