Santa will not be bringing you a white iPhone 4

Numerous companies have kick started their festive cheer by offering a range of incentives both online and in store such as Sony, who are offering VAT back in cash. Apple on the other hand have gone in the opposite direction by now pushing back the launch of the white iPhone 4 until spring 2010.
Consumers who have been holding out for the lighter hued handset will now face a wait well into the new year as an Apple spokeswoman declared:
“We’re sorry to disappoint customers waiting for the white iPhone again” adding that the white model was: “more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected”.
The factor causing this is the actual white shell of the phone itself, which manufacturers are having difficulty with producing. With official OEM parts being applied to black iPhone 4 handsets, it is clear that the colour currently being spec’d out by manufactuerers is milky white, and not the solid colour Apple want.
