Show off Japanese Doctor uses iPad during surgery

iPad’s are the latest craze – and if you have one, and are that way out, then showing yours off is must. But one doctor in Japan has gone one step further, and has also helped Apple’s marketing in the process.
During a procedure at Kobe University’s hospital, the unnamed doctor used the iPad to zoom in and out of medical images and video. It’s not clear whether they were pre-downloaded pics being displayed in the iPhotos app, or whether it’d been hacked to run custom software, but the pinch-to-zoom functionality is intact, despite the user wearing latex surgical gloves. In fact, for sterilisation purposes, the entire gadget was wrapped in cling-film, which brings news that the iPad’s screen and multi-touch capability is pretty good – despite reviewers dissing it.
