Some Blackberry’s already running Android Apps?

[ 1 ] Posted by on February 24, 2011

The creators of ShopSavvy (a stupidly popular Android barcode scanning application) recently came across something quite curios while looking at the logs of devices using their applications, multiple Blackberry’s all using it natively.

The devices were A Blackberry 8300, 8600 and 8520. This lines up strangely with that bizzare rumour that Blackberry is working on making Android apps compatible with its forthcoming and exceedingly awesome Playbook, of course we have no idea what’s going on here and it could just be a few coders messing around to see what Frankenstein’s monster they can create, but this does bode well for the future of Blackberry app development.
