Sony Confirms 50 Milliion PS3′s Shipped
In the ever debating battle between gaming consoles one Japanese contender has had the hardest battle of all, however thankfully Sony has confirmed that its PlayStation 3 game console has hit the magic figure of 50 million purchases worldwide today, bringing with it at last news that Sony’s gaming console is back on track.
As reported originally by The Telegraph, Sony shipped 3.5 million in 2006, and these number grew to 9.1 , 10.1 and 13 progressively year on year. This news comes as in January Microsoft confirmed that it had shipped 50 million consoles worldwide.
