Sony Xperia X10 gets its Android 2.1 update

[ 1 ] Posted by on November 8, 2010

For all Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 users out there their handsets have started to feel a little dated what with the release of the Desire HD and Galaxy S, and so with the Xperia X10 now getting its Android 2.1 update, this software boost at last brings the X10 into 2010, with Google Goggles, continuous autofocus for HD video, five homescreens and improved backup options (Hoorah!).

Also on Sony’s list of handsets to rock the 2.1 update are the X10 Mini and Technology Blogged recommended X10 Mini Pro with a rather querky sliding keyboard. General users excluded, a lot of Android users are going to notice that it has taken one heck of a long time for Sony to update its Xperia range – and with 2.2 already out and 2.3 on the horizon, is Sony pushing it’s current range of handsets knowing that they are on their last legs?
