Spotify finally finds its way on to Shazam app
Spotify and Shazam appear to have joined forces in the Apple App Store and Android Marketplace, partnering up to offer access to the streaming music service through both non paid service and premium subscription versions of the music finder and identification app.
The official Shazam app now features a ‘Play in Spotify’ option and is available today for Shazam Premium Android and iPhone users in the UK (once you update your app) and countries across Europe. For those of you who are free Shazam app owners, unfortunately you will have to wait until late in Q1 to enjoy the Spotify and Shazam app integration. Doh!
Not to give Android and Apple the whole spotlight, Windows Phone 7′s Shazam app has had a play in Zune button since the initial launch on Windows Phone 7, and this brilliant feature has only just been ported to Android and the iPhone.
