The Need For Speed: Artega SE Electric Car Packs 375 horsepower
For everybody out there who owns a Prius you know that by driving one you are helping the planet (sort of), however over than the Tesla electric powered supercar which can out sprint a Lotus Elise, is there anything else you can ditch your Prius for in the need of electronically powered speed? Of course there is!
Introducing the Artega SE, a sports car powered by 2 electric motors that interconnect to produce 375 horsepower and a top speed of “well over” 155MPH. On top of the power figures, the Artega also packs a 37 kW lithium polymer battery that’ll keep you going for a full 124 miles under normal driving conditions (i.e. urban and combined).
Want one? Well you’ll have to wait until 2012 unfortunately, and have a wallet packed full of money because it is set of cost 150,000 euros (ouch).
