There are now 150 million people using Google Maps.
Ever wonder how many people are staring down at mobile screens, squinting at little blue dots and trying to work out how exactly they managed to get so lost? Well, turns out it’s 150 million of us. Yeah, that’s right. one hundred and fifty million people. This news from vice president of location services Marissa Mayer who made a speech during SXSW.
In the mood for even more statistics? Google navigated people 12 billion miles last year, which is enough to go around the globe around 481898 times. Incredible no? Just goes to show how much we rely on our mobile devices these days.
