UK Vodafone Customers Wake Up to No Signal
Ooooh did you hear that? That’s the sound of the Zombie apocalypse bringing down Vodafone’s Basingstoke exchange center, causing UK Vodafone customers to wake up this morning and realize that they have no 3G, 2G or SMS services to play with.
Vodafone have noted that the issue has definitely been identified as being caused by a break-in at its Basingstoke exchange center, however no further details have been announced surrounding this event.
As a loyal Vodafone UK user, I have personally not been affected by this carrier mis-hap, however many people have reported that they experienced a dramatic signal loss or no signal at all during the morning hours.
