Virgin Media to halt services in Westminster, London

If you are a happy chappy who lives in Westminster and currently own a Virgin Media package, then your frown is going to go downhill today, after Virgin Media announced that they are to suspend services in that area of London calling the infrastructure it has rented from BT as not capable of supporting superfast broadband and other key services.
Going further, Virgin branded the situation an “unusual circumstance”, citing that on top of not being able to offer decent services in the area of Westminster due to infrastructure they also don’t own the network themselves, calling it a “rare area”.
Talking to ZDNet UK, A Virgin Media spokesperson said that “This is an unusual circumstance, in that it’s one of the rare areas where we don’t own the network ourselves.”
