Virgin Mobile Sells Motorola Triumph Blur-free
In our very recent news coverage surrounding Motorola we let all you folks know about how Motorola is finally phasing out their MOTOBLUR brand on upcoming handsets, however Virgin Mobile appear to be one step ahead of the game, as if you just so happen to pop down to a local Virgin Mobile store and try a Triumph out you’ll find no proprietary shell whatsoever sitting atop the handset and just good old Android 2.2 Froyo, the version of the OS which currently reigns supreme in user base.
The Virgin Mobile Triumph then is literally the first Motorola phone to sell out of the box without Motorola’s UI on it (after being removed), meaning that users can get a true and pure Android experience on handsets they love with BLUR having been pre-installed on it first.
