Where is the UK Sony PSP Price Slash?
If you like many people have found that the Sony PSP is generally a tad expensive for what it actually is, then you’ll have recently heard that Sony was going to slash the price of it’s PSP line across Europe, which it has by 24 per cent, however these slashes have not yet hit the UK and look unlikely to do so after Sony have announced that they are ‘not in a position’ to offer the PSP with a 24 per cent price cut.
According to IT Portal, PSP’s price tag dropped to a record low of 130 euros from an initial price of 180 euros prior.
Speaking on the matter Sony released the following statement regarding the UK not seeing a price change;

Since we in the UK are vulnerable to two exchange rate calculations, we are not in a position to offer a similar cut in PSP for the UK.”
