Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 has just got an official Kindle app thrown in to it’s marketplace, sparking a new leap forward for e-book domination by the hands of Amazon.

The Kindle app gives around 1.5 million Windows Phone 7 owners their first opportunity to sample the 725,000 titles available from Amazon to smartphone platforms, a number which should keep even the most eager readers satisfied.

Perhaps the greatest feature of the Kindle app is the ability for readers to sync their purchases across all of their devices, which means if you’re reading on your Galaxy Tab, you’ll be able to save your page and pick up where you left off on your Windows Phone 7 handset.

If push came to shove, we would probably opt for the Samsung Omnia 7 as our choice to read books from the Kindle app. Check out our review of this fantastic handset here.
