Windows Phone 7 Shifts 2 Million Copies In Last Quarter
We all know how gorgeous Windows Phone 7 is, and this news comes as no surprise to us that Microsoft has shipped more than 2 million units of its new Windows Phone 7 software to handset makers in the last quarter.
Importantly however Microsoft never stated exactly how many of these 2 million copies have been sold on to consumers, although we suspect that quite a few have been. On this news, senior product manager Greg Sullivan stated that;
“One of the key ways that we’ll measure the success of Windows Phone 7 is ‘Did we ship a phone people love?’,” Greg then went on to say that Microsoft’s own customer satisfaction data showed 93% were satisfied or very satisfied. “That’s a really great number.”
