World’s first ever super hi-vision LCD, 16x more clarity than 1080p

In a world where nothing is ever enough Sharp has just been showing off their brand new and world’s first ever super hi-vision LCD television, running at a staggering 7,680 x 4,320 pixel resolution and featuring 103 pixels per inch, which is quite the achievment considering your regular 60 inch HD TV runs at 36ppi.
Blasting 1080p out of the water, this TV would certainly look great as a desktop monitor. That way, I would be able to write posts down the street and still see what i’m doing.
Want it? Well you can’t, unfortunately, as it won’t be hitting consumers for quite some time. You can hit up the video below to see what’s what, though, and hope for the best time-scale wise.
