Xbox 360 Slim prices slashed by Tesco, hammering competitors

[ 1 ] Posted by on July 12, 2010

Retail Giant Tesco has just unveiled the first cut-price offering of the upcoming Xbox 360 Slim, the latest and highly sought after games console from Microsoft.

Although it is already out in the US, the slimmed and dieted down 360 is due for release in the UK this coming Friday (July 16th) and has been available for pre-order on our British shores, from mulitple retail outlets, for a number of weeks at its £200 RRP. Tesco, however, has decided to reduce its per-unit profits and offer the latest Xbox console for just £189 ahead of its launch which coincides with the start of the UK school’s summer holidays.
