Xbox 720 to be unveiled E3 2012
News just in! According to the developer behind Crysis 2, Crytek, Microsoft will launch their next generation console which is unofficially called the Xbox 720 at next year’s E3. A “high-ranking industry source” who works for the dev handed the details to Videogamer, and whilst were on the subject of the Xbox 720, feature wise it is expected to be able to playback Blu-ray and whilst graphics will be improved, Microsoft will be aiming to turn their next-gen console in to more of a media machine in 2012.
Whether or not this machine will hit consumers in 2012 despite being unveiled then is a matter of opinion, however we’d expect it in Q4 2012.
