x-Ar Exoskeleton Arm Turns You Into Del Spooner Wannabee
Have you ever seen iRobot the film? You have? Then this post is for you. If you haven’t seen iRobot before though it came out in 2004 and featured Will Smith playing Del Spooner who was admittedly a rather badass character.
What Will Smith has (Del Spooner) is a robotic arm which he pummels a robot with, which to be perfectly honest makes you really want one for those times when, well, you need to throw a car at someone or something.
But what if you just want something that is going to say allow you to replicate repetitive movements over 1000 times more than usual? Enter the x-Ar Exoskelton, which was unveiled at the Applied Ergonomics Conference in Florida around a week ago. The Exoskeleton has a mechanism which mounts to a chair or other stable object such as a desk and loosely cuffs your arms, allowing for a fairly extraordinary range of motion while bearing “the weight of your arm and small objects.”
Hit up the video above to see what we’re talking about. We can’t promise that you’ll look like or be anything like Will Smith if you should use this badboy, though.
